Patio Cover Installation
The goal of this patio cover installation project was to bring full protection from the weather and all elements since it is fully enclosed. When a wooden pergola with a semi-open roof doesn’t do the work anymore, a patio enclosure takes its place. This patio cover is fully attached to the main structure and appears as its natural extension.
This patio cover has a flat roof with a slight slope so that the rainwater will easily shed and no ceiling rafters. Since it is a full patio enclosure, the project involved window installations on all three sides to make the area particularly bright.
This is a multi-level landscape. On one side, the patio is ground level. On the other two sides, the ground level is higher. And so, the installation of big windows and openings makes the patio particularly bright. It mostly resembles a sunroom. The patio floor is covered with grey tiles, the ceiling is painted white, the outdoor walls were painted white. This is more than a patio cover installation since the exterior home remodeling completely transformed the backyard with the patio enclosure for year-round activities.
